Do men really like being treated like dirt?

January 20, 2008
My friends and I have noticed that the guys we meet are more responsive if we treat them poorly rather then being respectful and considerate. What's that all about?—Anonymous
More responsive to what? Sexual advances? An offer to go out on a Friday night? I haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about. Men don't crave abuse and disrespect. Even the most submissive S&M "pig-slaves" only like being abused and humiliated within certain parameters and scenarios. Men want to be treated with dignity, respect, and consideration. It's pretty sad that you were even able to make such an observation, because as you said yourself, you had to treat men poorly to find out. Get a clue and give up the fratboy mentality.—Aaron Lawrence
