How can I make money having phone sex?

I have been told that I am really good at phone sex. I live in the Washington DC area and don't find any live gay phone sex numbers in business. I thought of either working for this type of business or starting one of my own. Where can I get some information? Thanks.
The most obvious way to learn would be to call a few phone sex companies that offer professional phone sex workers and ask where their office is and if they are hiring. A far more effective method would be to look in the help wanted ads of your local gay publication (The Washington Blade, perhaps?) to see if any local companies are hiring. Since most companies are scattered around the country, it will be a matter of chance to see if any are in the DC area. You may be disappointed at the pay scales if you work for one, however. They tend to pay minimum wage or only slightly higher.
Starting your company would be like any other company. I can hardly do all the research for you, but you would need an office to run your business, multiple phone line connections, a large advertising budget, and a group of employees. Expect to lose money over the first year as you build up your clientele, and make sure you have a lawyer check the legality of operating a sexually oriented business in the location you choose. It's not unlike running any other business otherwise.
Seriously though, unless you have money to burn or are determined to make this work, you may want to invest in mutual funds instead.
