Is my foreskin becoming more fragile with age?

I'm 35, uncut, and not very sexually active. As I was showering, I pulled my foreskin back and felt a stinging sensation. It seemed I caused a tear or cut on the skin between the head and shaft of my dick. I don't have a lot of foreskin but it does cover the head. Is it old age, or is my skin losing resiliency? I'm concerned this will interfere with oral sex and jackoff sessions.
