Why are escorts asking me for my photo?

Your advice is very helpful. You don't seem to have a problem with your clients' ages or looks. Is that true with most escorts? One escort asked me to send a photo of myself which I did and then I never heard from him again. In truth, I'm not bad looking. I'm 46 and in decent shape. Am I getting too old for young escorts? What is the mean age of most of your clients? I would think that most of them would be about my age, no?
In three and a half years of escorting, I've seen clients from 18 to 78 years of age, with an average age of, you guessed it, the mid-forties. So let me start by saying no, you're not too old to hire an escort. Although in thirty years you'll be getting up there a bit.
Escorting is about the most unregulated industry I can think of. As such, it has it's share of idiots and losers. It's most definitely uncommon for most escorts to ask for a picture of a client, unless they're meeting the client in a public area such as a crowded mall, or have e-mailed with the client extensively in advance. Rookie escorts and those who don't take their businesses remotely seriously are much more likely to ask for a picture. It sounds as if you managed to find one of those guys. Chalk it up to an interesting learning experience and move on.
