What is the difference between trimming and shaving?

What do you mean about "trimming" one’s pubic hair and chest hair? That’s different from shaving, right? I heard you can make your dick appear bigger by trimming (or shaving) your pubic hair. Do you think trimmed chest hair is appealing or should one shave chest hair? My chest hair is rather shaggy and I don’t like the bear look.—Anonymous
Yes, trimming is different than shaving. Most people shave their facial hair - they use an electric or straight razor so they have no hair left on their chin at all. But when it comes to the hair on top of your head you typically have it trimmed, or partially cut.

Pubic and chest hair is the same way. Instead of shaving it all off, many people prefer to trim it partially down. In that way you still have the look of hair, but it’s not unkempt and wildly out of control. I strongly recommend everyone trim at least every-other month, unless their partner(s) prefers a massive bush of hair.

To trim your hair, just pick up a set of hair clippers at Wal-Mart or Target or whatever. I prefer the #2 attachment for general trimming, although sometime I’ll switch to a #1 for the hair on the base of my dick itself.—Aaron Lawrence

I know from reading the results of a survey that Playguy did, that shaving is highly controversial among some people. There are those who like bears and lots of hair and those of us who don’t. Personally I love to suck and rim, but not get mouthfuls of hair, so I love trimmed or shaved crotches. Oddly, the hair on your balls and around your hole don’t come back as fast as pubes do. If you are really hairy, I think it is best to trim your pubes rather than shave them so your cock sucker won’t get "whisker burn". I feel the same way about chests. While I like young guys with smooth chests, if a guy has a hairy chest, I would prefer he just trim and not shave as I don’t like stubble. I am nuts about hairy legs on young guys and wish my boys wouldn’t shave their legs - ever, but I know it is in style and if you do it, then you need to keep them smooth. Just an opinion.
