Is it dangerous to have "clumps" in my cum?

January 21, 2008
I've noticed that I have some inconsistency in my cum. There appears to be mucous casts which are like gelatinized plugs evenly distributed in the cum. I know this sounds odd, but it's hard to describe. There is no discomfort in cumming, it just looks and feels different from it used to. I had a vasectomy a few years ago, if that is any help. I'm 49 years old and in good physical health.—Anonymous
Good news! There's nothing wrong with you. At least not that I can tell from your letter. Many men have small "clumps" in their cum, and its totally natural. Those clumps are in fact protein globules, and are nothing to worry about.—Aaron Lawrence
