Why are my enemas becoming less effective?
January 21, 2008
I just read your response to a question about anal cleansing. I, like the other gentleman like to be ready for anything and enjoy a fresh feeling. I used to use the good ole' Fleet Brand on a daily basis, but then read elsewhere that it is not healthy. This is when I began to use Fleet Brand only once a week or so and an ear syringe on a daily basis. This worked well for a while but lately seems to be failing me. Because I was a top for many years before becoming a bottom I realize that sometimes you just have to deal with finding dirt but as a bottom I still get embarrassed. I would like to see more information on how to stay clean in a healthy manner. Thanks!
You're quite correct, daily use of enemas is not a good idea. Using the syringe is a much healthier alternative to keeping yourself clean. But as you note, that doesn't always do the job. Sometime your diet makes it a bit tougher to clean things up. Using the syringe more than once can help counter that, as long as you make sure you "empty yourself" of water between syringe uses. A better solution though would be to add more insoluble fiber in your diet. Fiber adds bulk to your stool, which in turn makes your rectal area a lot cleaner inside. Any good nutrition website can tell you exactly how to add fiber to your diet, but in general eating more vegetables and whole grains. Change your diet, and the worst of your problem should be solved for you.
