How does one cruise for guys?
January 20, 2008
I need to know the etiquette of cruising! Is there a web page with the answers?? I'm new at this, I love to get my cock sucked & suck other cocks, but I have no idea how to get started. I've walked around in the "cruisy" areas of town, hung out in adult bookstores, but nothing's happened yet. I'm a good looking 25 year old guy, too! Help!
Not only is there a webpage with all you need to know about cruising, it is THE webpage. Cruisingforsex.com is singularly dedicated to cruising and anonymous sex, whatever you want wherever in the world you may be. From "how to" to "where at," it will almost certainly have answers for you.
My advice for you is to start your cruising education in bookstores. They're usually much safer legally (and safety-wise!) than parks and rest areas, and tend to offer a bit more privacy. Not just any old bookstore will do, either. Some are straight-only by design while others play it very cool because of legal harassment. Look for a bookstore in which the doors to the booths go all the way down to the ground, rather than knee-high. That way you'll be able to go two or more to a booth without attracting undue attention. The bookstore staff should also more or less leave the patrons alone, as opposed to constantly patrolling the hallways and booths.
If you're in a rural or suburban area, you'll know a bookstore is cruisy when there are a number of cars parked in front - often late evening on a Friday or Saturday, slightly earlier during the week. Either way, the bookstore should ideally have several patrons all loitering around. They'll be pretending to look at video boxes, wall displays, or the display case advertising what videos are playing in the booths. If you wander around store long enough, you'll hear people occasionally buy tokens from the desk clerk or a change machine.
Once you've ready to start cruising, buy a few dollars of tokens (there may be a minimum purchase) and walk into the bath. You'll ideally see a few guys standing around, all averting their eyes from each other. From there, either make eye-contact with someone you're interested in. Or if it doesn't matter who you play with, skip the eye contact and walk right towards a booth. Let the guys see you as you enter, but don't lock the door behind you. Just close it so it's a crack open. Someone very well may follow you. If you're not interested, politely apologize for "forgetting" to lock the door and do so. Plunk in a few tokens and wait a few minutes before exiting and trying again. If you are interested, well, you can take things from there.
Sexually speaking, there are few rules as far as cruising goes. You are totally welcome to have your own agenda, whether that be to service lots of guys, only be serviced, to meet a guy and go somewhere else, or even just to jack off while letting guys watch you. Just keep in mind that others may have their own agenda as well. Make a few consessions, but if the two are not compatable, politely excuse yourself and move on. Don't feel obligated to play with someone that makes you feel uncomfortable. Oh, and play safe, ok? You should never believe your sexual partners when they assure you they're "clean" or "disease free", but that warning goes triply when it comes to anonymous sex.
Almost forgot. The most important piece of advice I can give you is to be respectful. Cruisers are not "old trolls" regardless of their age. You'll be older someday, too! Give guys that aren't your type a chance sometimes, and you'll be surprised how well they may be able to service you (or whatever). If you're really not interested, be polite. It's a small world and what goes around most certainly does come around in the world of cruising.
